Siege of Przemyśl - Summary I THE GREAT WAR Special
- Imagine if Svestosar berovic was commander in chief of the Austrian armz
- Nice video about the siege. And nice job.
Tu sobie zobacz
trykacz.pl mi się tam podobało.
- Thanks, Conrad.
- Greetings from Poland :D
-
2:33 Brace yourselfs. Hötzendorf tactics are coming. Seriously there must be some memes about him.
- Lol, We just broke the seige and escaped from Przemysl. And Hortzendorf says, fill it with more men so the siege can start anew.!
- Lwów (Lemberg) was the capital of Austria Poland (Galicia) not Kraków (Krakau).
- Austro-Hungarians had such crappy generals! they would have done better if their troops were under German commanders who were more competent at their jobs!
- Well done Indy and team!

- Love the history lessons! Thank you! My Great Grandfather was in Przemyśl. He was Polish, but was sucked into the Austro-Hungarian side of the conflict do to the part of Poland he lived in. According to his passport, I believe he was a Lt. Korporal? Sadly, I can't read the Polish or German language (let alone his hand writing) to get any more out of it. Google translate doesn't help much. I would love to see if somebody could help me translate it.
- Greatings Indy and team keep doing what your doing. I have a question for out of the trenches.
Was there also fought in the first world on land like in a forrest? (no trenches involved).
- Did you consider going to Poznań? It's a city in western Poland that was encircled with German XIX century forts like a stronghold. One of them is the citadel on a hill in the middle of the city. Nowadays it's a big park where people hang out but what's interesting is that it was used by the Germans again in the WWII and you can see the devastation caused by the use of late WWII weapons against XIX century fortification technology. It's one of the very few places where WWI meats with WWII.
- I have a question for out of the trenches.
I was wondering if other countries other than the countries on the western front used tanks and if so which counties and which tanks. Love the show keep it up
- Patreon subscriber from the beginning here: I'd love to see you with a reconstructed field pack/webbing, typically carried by the soldiers of one of the powers, then to unpack it item by item.
- I have a question for out of the trenches.
Did other countries other than ones on the western front use tanks and if so what countries and what tanks were used.
Love the show keep up the good work.
- hotzendorf: verb: "To loose many man for pointless reason due to incompetence".
Example: Hitler hotzendorfed the 6th Army
- Hey gents. Thank you for the fantastic series about a fascinating subject. A quick suggestion to improve it even further: Could someone instruct Indy that Svetozar Borojević's title "von Bojna" is pronounced as "Boy-nah" rather than the "Bonya" which Indy consistently uses? After so many episodes it becomes dearly noticable. Keep on the great work guys!
(Somewhat ironically, one of my great-grandfathers fought under his command, and another great-grandfather died fighting against his forces)
- Happy to see that my Patreon money was put to good use!
- From Franz Ferdinand's graveone could hear “Hotzendor, give me back my legions!“
